Wood Wine Racks – A Review of the J.K. Adams MWR-40
I thought I would give you guys a brief review of one of the most popular wooden wine racks on the market today. They JK Adams rack is a versatile rack that is easy to put together. It’s versatile due to the different ways you can build the rack. Based on how much room or holding capacity you want, you can make it fit in almost any tight location or expand on it with another rack. This expanding feature makes the rack virtually limitless on its bottle holding capacity. Making this rack a perfect wood wine rack for the beginner, as your wine collection grows so can your holding power.
The rack is available in three different finishes; lacquered oak, unfinished hardwood and Penguin oak. Having these varying woods is nice as you can match almost any decor. It’s shipped in a box and needs assembly, but do not worry. The rack is very simple to put together and very stable when completed. I would recommend a mallet due to some tight fit on the pins. It weighs 28 pounds, so finding a retailer that offers free shipping will be critical if you looking for a bargain price. Expect to pay between $80 – $120 for this rack. It’s worth every penny.
It’s also important to note that this is the 40 bottle version and you can buy this rack in a 12 bottle rack for added versatility.
